The original Plasma Science and Innovation Center website

Independent records connect psicenter.org with the historical Plasma Science and Innovation Center and computational plasma research.

This is a newly prepared record of an old address. It does not reproduce the former article or endorse claims made in its reported title.

A documented research identity

Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory’s historical links directory identifies the University of Washington’s Plasma Science and Innovation Center with www.psicenter.org. A research overview published in the Journal of Fusion Energy describes the center’s work on improving predictive computational tools for smaller plasma experiments. These independent records establish an earlier research identity for the domain.

What the center studied

The research program concerned how numerical models represent charged particles, magnetic fields, boundaries, and energy transport. Validating a simulation against experimental observations helps distinguish a physically useful prediction from a result that depends on an overly simple assumption. Such work belongs to plasma and fusion research; it is not evidence that the former center provided patient care or endorsed later health articles.

The domain today

This is an independently written history record. The present Physics for Health publication is a new editorial project and does not claim continuity with, sponsorship by, or membership in the former university research center. The domain’s root address serves the new homepage; this Archive entry preserves the earlier identity without replacing the current home or inventing a recovered institutional page.
