Just watched the league reveal. I'm feeling very positive on it.
--- Trickster ---
One Step Ahead, "your action speed cannot be reduced below 108%" is definitely a highlight of that rework. As mentioned in the stream, this means that you're immune to Chill, Freeze and Temp Chains. However, you could already get immunity to those, and almost everyone did. What's more exciting is that this is also immunity to zombie tar, delirium gropey hands (temporal anomaly), paralyzing touch, elder vortex, and lots of other very-hard-to-deal-with debuffs. Slowing the enemies is also quite good for builds that weren't already chilling or freezing.
I'm not sure if it's enough to carry the ascendancy, but I think it is, and I'm going to mostly be considering trickster starts. I'm afraid that this might be a raider situation, where the buffs/defensiveness makes for a good package, but it doesn't quite have a unique gimmick that is required (e.g.: shaper of flame, the old necro +2 minions, jugg accuracy node).
Oh, and I suppose One Step Ahead forbidden flame is going to be amazing for other shadows.
For the rest of the rework:
+2 max frenzy charges is interesting, as all other ascendancies grant at most one max charge, and frenzy charges are kind of the best charges.
Heartstopper still seems niche to me.
Escape Artist: filler node
Soul Drinker: ES Overleech is nice. I've never played with overleech but people who have really love it. I am pretty sure that Energy Leech Support gives you both halves if you are at full ES and leeching ES, and for most builds this is a damage upgrade over the marginal 6th support link.
Spellbreaker: depending on how hard it is to get suppression, seems alright, but not exciting
Polymath: x% recovered on kill is very good. It's especially good for builds like dots and ailments that aren't good at leeching. I think that this is quite good if you can fit in 5+ masteries, reasonable at 4 masteries, a bit subpar at 3+, and bad below that.

Alchemist's Mark
This feels like a great single target buff for ignite builds, since it's automatic flame surge, and ignite builds never used marks. This will probably be used on most ignite builds. I doubt it would be used on poison builds, which have no problem with single target.

Shock skills.
Galvanic Field could be good as supplementary boss damage for an arc or crackling lancer. I carefully watched the reveal, and it appears to be an instant-cast spell from what I could tell. So it could be great in a trigger setup or left mouse as just free extra damage on chunkies.
I can't think of a reason I would ever cast Lightning Conduit: If I can apply a strong shock to a non-pinnacle enemy, I could have just killed that enemy. Suppose it dealt 1 quintillion damage to every shocked enemy. Doesn't matter. I still had to press two buttons instead of one. My effective DPS is halved compared to just killing a pack with one spell. Dead with more steps is worse than dead with fewer steps, and there is no bonus for overkill. (Of course, I'd use it on pinnacle bosses. If it has a use, it would be there).
Overcharge: totally depends on numbers which I couldn't find. I don't think they released level 20 #'s with the patch notes today.

Archenemesis: We'll see!
Beyond: We'll see!
> Harvest: "We have removed some [crafts] with deterministic outcomes that were incredibly RNG gated before". I don't know which ones he's referring to, but that line sounds important. Otherwise, I kind of liked harvest, as I felt like I was able to get value out of it by being prepared for it. This new system is more convenient and less interesting. I'm sure everyone else is going to love it, but I like the quirks and oddities of POE.

> The following Maps have been added back to the Atlas: Ancient City, Arachnid Nest, Arachnid Tomb, Belfry, Castle Ruins, Chateau, Colosseum, Crater, Defiled Cathedral, Dig, Excavation, Forking River, Ghetto, Leyline, Pen, Phantasmagoria, Pier, Plateau, Racecourse, Shrine, Silo, Stagnation, Sulphur Vents, Vault, and Waterways.
The following Maps have been removed from the Atlas: Basilica, Bazaar, Beach, Burial Chambers, Cage, City Square, Core, Courtyard, Crystal Ore, Desert Spring, Fields, Glacier, Infested Valley, Ivory Temple, Lookout, Mineral Pools, Palace, Pit, Reef, Sepulchre, Sunken City, Tower, Toxic Sewer, Tropical Island, and Volcano.
The good maps we lost are Beach, Burial Chambers, City Square, Glacier, and Tropical Island. I do not recognize any of the gained maps as good ones at all. Crimson Temple (Apothecary) and Cemetery (Brother's Stash + Cursed Words), Strand (Deli mirror farming), Promenade (nurse + the alt qual gem card) are still on the map device. Looks like we're going to be in one of those four all league.

Kirac crafts:
2 Abyss for 3c was a very good deal, but I don't know if it will be after the rare rework.
Legion for 6 is ok if you are scarabing it.
Expedition for 12: it's possible that scarabs will be cheaper, and I don't think you can get 2 expedition on the same map.

> The Map Device now remembers which Map Crafting option you last used, and is automatically selected if it is available and you have the relevant currency.>
This is sweet.
> Highlighting a mastery on the passive skill tree now highlights all masteries of the same type.
Not bad.
