Captain Feathersword: Ahoy there!

Anthony: Oh, I'm beginning to wonder just who the second ballerina is! (to camera pointing to the viewers, while Captain Feathersword does his shushing gestures to tell them no.) You think it's not a ballerina? You think the second ballerina is Captain Feathersword? Well, let's have a look at these ballerinas. Well, the first ballerina has a beautiful tiara on her head. The second ballerina... ..has a pirate hat on his head. You could be right. Well, the first ballerina has a beautiful blue tutu. (Lucia Field is pushing a cart to make a Wiggle stars pop out transition to the part where Dorothy dances the ballet to a bird flying in a bright sunny day, then the Wiggles arrive applauding.)

Murray: Very nice, Dorothy. Dorothy, you've got on your tutu, your beautiful tutu, and your ballet shoes. You must be practicing a ballet dance.

Dorothy: Yes, Iam.! This ballet is a story ballet! But Ineed some music. Do you think you could dance with me?

Murray: Love to!

Sam: Ballets beaut!

Anthony: Ballet, count me in!

Jeff: I want to!

Dorothy: Well, it's a story about a bird. She is flying around on a bright, sunny day! (with The Wiggles dance likebirds.) Then one day, she sat on a branch. And a wind began to blow and the little bird was frightened. I'll be the wind. (with The Wiggles dance like the wind.) It began to sprinkle with rain! (with The Wiggles dance like the rain falling down.) The rain got heavier and the bird flew into a tree to shelter from the storm. (with The Wiggles dance like they're sheltering from a storm.) But at last, the rain stopped and the sun came out and the bird flew away! (with The Wiggles dance likebirds again.)

Anthony: Dorothy, a beautiful dance. Thank you so much. You told that story so clearly.

Dorothy: Thanks, Anthony. (She chuckles.) So did you, Wiggles!

Sam: Well, you, too, can use dancing at home to tell your own stories, everybody. Have fun. (with The Other Wiggles & Dorothy flap likebirds.)

(A scene pulls over transition to the song: A Bird Flew Around On A Bright Sunny Day. A scene where Sam tells a story about a bird who flies around on a bright, sunny day.)

Sam: (singing) A bird flew around on a bright sunny day

Sat on a branch and decided to stay

The wind began to blow, the branch began to sway

The little bird was frightened and couldn't fly away

The rain tumbled down, the bird felt forlorn

She had to find a warm place to shelter from the storm

She found an empty nest, to keep her dry that day

The sun came out and the bird flew away.

(Henry spins around with bubbles transition to Anthony sitting down reading a cookbook, the other Wiggles sit & join him.)

Murray: Getting ready to cook, Anthony?

Anthony: I am, Murray. We're all going to Dorothy's place for a party and I thought I'd cook something to take with us.

Sam: Can we help?

Anthony: (He's laughing.) Of course you can, Sam! I'mnot sure what to make, so I'm looking in this recipe book for some ideas.

Jeff: Have you got any ideas already, Anthony?

Anthony: Well, Ithought we could make something ahead of time and put it in the fridge until it's time to go.

Sam: And maybe something people can eat, without having to use a fork or a spoon.

Jeff: Finger food!

Murray: Well, here's some recipe books, guys. (He hands Jeff a cookbook.) Here you go, Jeff. (He hands Sam a cookbook.) Sam. Now, we've all got a recipe book, so now we can all look for something really delicious to take to the party! (with The Wiggles look through each of their cookbooks.)

Jeff: Here's a recipe for vegetable soup! But that's not really finger food, is it?

Anthony: No, no.

Murray: (He gasps.) How about Christmas cookies?

Anthony: Great idea, Murray! Christmas cookies! We all love Christmas cookies! But, it's not a Christmas party.

Murray: Oh, no. It's not. Hmm.

Sam: (He gasps.) What about a low-fat, high-fibre birthday cake?

Anthony: Oh! Low-fat, high-fibre, birthday cake! Well, that's a fantastic idea, Sam, butit's not a birthday party. (with The Wiggles look through each of their cookbooks. Except, he found something that he has an idea.) I know! I've found the very thing! Grilled vegetable salad!

Murray: Grilled vegetable salad?! Well, do you eat it hot or do you eat it cold?

Anthony: Uh, let me see. Ah! Grilled vegetable salad. You cook it, mmm, that's the grilling bit, but then you eat it cold!

Sam: Wow. What's it made of?

Anthony: Well, the ingredients should be in the fridge. (He puts his cookbook down onto the table.) We'll see what we've got there. (He walks to the fridge, opens it & brings a tray of food to the table.) Voila! The ingredients!

Jeff: The colours are nice, aren't they?

Anthony: They're beautiful colours. Have a look at this. (He's showing some fruits & vegetables.) Yellow squash. Yellow, orange, red capsicum. Green zucchini. A beautiful dark-purple eggplant. And this is balsamic vinegar, lovely dark... dark in colour and wonderful in nature. (He's laughing).

Sam: (He picks up a coriander.) And then we can put in some coriander and put it in a jar in the fridge until it's time to go to Dorothy's party.

(It transitions to The Wiggles with a bowl of grilled vegetable salad.)

Anthony: And here it is, grilled, chopped and healthy. And you know the best thing about healthy food?

Sam, Murray & Jeff: What? Tell us.

Anthony: You can eat lots and lots of it.

Sam, Murray & Jeff: Oh, Anthony! Wah, wah, wah, waaaaaaaaaaah!

(A scene pulls over transition to Dorothy joining The Wiggles with a trolley of things, while a jazz band perform in the background.)

Anthony: Dorothy the Dinosaur, what have you got in those containers?

Dorothy: All sorts of things, Anthony. They're for a game. You have to see if you can tell what is in each one just by smelling.

Murray: Can't you just tell by looking?

Dorothy (She laughs.) Well, that's the game. You have to close you eyes and tell what it is by the smell.

Sam: And no peeping.

Dorothy: Close your eyes, Sam. (Sam closes his eyes and holds up his hands, while Anthony gives him a container.) What have you got?

Sam: (He sniffs.) Ooh, I think I know what it is. (He sniffs again.) I think it's an onion. (He opens his eyes & looks down at his hand to see that he's holding an onion.) It is an onion!

Anthony: Yay! Well, it's my turn now. Close my eyes. (He closes his eyes & collects container from Dorothy. He sniffs) Smell. (He sniffs again.) Familiar smell. (He sniffs again.) Ooh, sweet smell. Bouquet, lovely! (He sniffs again.) It smells like soap. (He picks up a soap & opens his eyes.) It is soap! Yes! Ha-ha! Your turn, Murray.

Murray: Great. (He closes his eyes & collects container from Dorothy.) Thank you, Dorothy. (He sniffs.) Yes, I'm smelling it. (He sniffs again.) It smells tangy. (He sniffs again.) I think it's... (He sniffs again.) Oh, it's some sort of fruit, Ithink. I think it's orange. (He opens his eyes, looks down & sees a slice of orange. He gasps.) It is! (He picks up a slice of orange.) It's orange.

Anthony: Yay!

Dorothy: Your turn, Jeff.

Jeff: (He closes his eyes & holds out his hands, while Murray gives him a container. He sniffs) It smells very nice. (He sniffs again.) Ooh, a rather floral smell. (He sniffs again.) I've smelt these in the garden. (He sniffs again.) I think Iknow. It's rose petals? (He opens his eyes & looks down to see a contain full of rose petals.) Yeah! (He sprinkles rose petals.)

Anthony: Hey, Ican smell something else.

Murray: What is it?

Anthony: It smells like... rosy tea.

Dorothy: You're right, Anthony! I've just made a fresh pot. (She chuckles.) Come on everyone. (She giggles.)

Anthony: Alright.

(Dorothy begins to pour The Wiggles some rosy tea, while jazz band in background dance away. It cuts to the song: Smell Your Way Through The Day. A scene where Captain Feathersword smells something during a song.)

Sam: (singing) Smell your way through the day

Captain Feathersword: (singing) A wonderful day waits for you and your nose,

I love to go walking through the garden and smell the fresh air

Murray: (singing) That's the smell beyond compare

Sam: (singing) I love the smell of stays, around, after the rain

Jeff: (singing) Yes, I can smell that again and again

Sam: (singing) Smell your way through the day

Smell your way through the day

Captain Feathersword: (singing) A wonderful day waits for you and your nose,

Sam: (singing) Smell your way through the day

I love to smell dinner, cooking, on the stove

Murray: (singing) I smell the food and down it goes

Sam: (singing) I love the smell of bubbles, bubbling in my bath

Anthony: (singing) Off to bed and wait for the next day to start

Sam: (singing) Smell your way through the day

(2children when letters & numbers flying transition to Anthony coming towards the camera like a train.)

Anthony: (He's laughing.) Lots of fun exercising warming up and stretching. We're gonna have some more exercises with Captain Feathersword. Let's have a little stretch first everybody. (He puts his arms up.) Just take your hands, just do this. (He starts bowing.) Bow. That's it. Get the backbone moving.(He stops bowing.) Or how about, take your foot and put it on your head? (He grabs right his foot. Then, he taps his head with foot.) Yes. Whoo-whoo! Now, try the other one. (He grabs his left foot.) This is a favourite of mine, this one. (He starts to wobble.) And just put it on your head... (He starts losing her balance.) Captain! (He stumbles out of frame.)

(A scene pulls over transition to the song: Hands On Your Ears. A scene where Captain Feathersword are gonna teach how to exercise and stretching during the song, while the pirate crew are playing their instruments.)

Captain Feathersword: Let's all do an exercise song, me hearties!

(singing) Hands on your ears, bend and touch your toes

Hands on your waist, fingers on your nose

Walk on your toes, stretch up tall

Now walk on your heels and be sure you don't fall.

That was great, me hearties!

This time we are going to go a little faster,

Really get the heartbeat going!

(singing) Step to the front, jump up and down,

Spread your arms wide and you turn around,

Run on the spot, this is what you do

Now jump around the room like a kangaroo

Wow that was great, me hearties,

But now we are going to slow it down,

Sorta like a warm down.

Here we go!

(singing) Arms up front, swing them to the back

Swing them round in circles and you make your body slack

Bend from the waist, turn from side to side

Roll your shoulders round and round and stretch your legs wide.

Well done, me hearties!

(Two children pulling a cart when sparkles flying transition to Anthony with Aussie Donnie, Captain Feathersword & Murray are the 3 guitarists.)

Well, the first guitarist has a rock-star jacket on. The second guitarist has a... ..pirate jacket. I think you might be right. Let's have another look. The... the... the first guitarist has wonderful sunglasses, coolly put in his rock-star hairdo. The. uh... the second guitarist has a pirate eye patch and a rock-star hairdo, I like the hairdo.

Jeff Oh, paper folding. Can I do some?

Murray: Sure, Jeff. (Jeff sits down next to him. He grabs a piece of blue paper.) I'm gonna make a whale.

Dorothy: He's folded the paper in half, diagonally.

Jeff: I get it. (He folds his paper in half diagonally.) What's next Murray?

Murray: And then we open it out again. (with Jeff open their paper out.)

Jeff: So now there's a fold from the top corner to the bottom corner.

Murray: Then we have to fold triangles from opposite sides so they meet in the middle. (He folds triangles.) Like this.

Jeff: Ah. Like this. (He folds first triangle.) And like this. (He folds second triangle.) Now there's a triangle at the bottom.

Murray: Then we have to fold that triangle up so that its tip meets where the other triangles meet. (with Jeff fold bottom triangle so its tip meets the other triangles.)

Jeff: My fingers are working quite hard.

Murray: Now we make another fold at the pointy end so that the angle points up. (with Jeff fold pointy end up.)

Jeff: I see. It's starting to look like a whale. But the tail's not quite right.

Murray: Now we make a cut along here... (He cuts along fold of tail with scissors.) ..and fold the ends out. (He folds ends out. Jeff grabs scissors, cuts along fold and folds ends out.) Now to use this marker pen to make an eye. (He draws an eye on whale, then gives marker to Jeff. Jeff draws an eye on whale, puts marker on table and holds finished Origami up. Up here? (He places a book on top of bookshelf.) Hmm. Maybe a bit too high. (He takes a book off the top of the bookshelf.) So shall I hide it over here? (He places a book on middle of bookshelf.) Hmm. Maybe that's a little bit too easy for The Wiggles to find. So I know. (He takes a book off the bookshelf.) I'll hide the book under this pile of books. Yes! Woop! (He places a book on table of pile some books on top & then leaves.)

Murray: Games! I love games. How do we play?

Anthony: OK, here's how it works. You all have to look for the book and when you're close to it, I'll say "warm". And when you're closer, I'll say "warmer", and when you're really close, I'll say "warmest"! Now, if you're far away from the book, I'll say "cold". If you're even further away, I'll say "colder", and if you're nowhere near the book, I'll say "coldest". Got it?

Well, please, have another look at the second cow. Is it Captain Feathersword? OK. Well. let's have a look at the cows and compare them and maybe we can decide then if it's Captain Feathersword. The first cow has wonderful cow-like features, on all four legs. The second cow... has two legs, two arms and looks very much like a pirate. Hmm. Let's have another look. The first cow has black-and-white hide and the second cow has pirate clothes on. You know, I think you're right. I think it really is Captain Feathersword. You're Captain Feathersword!

Captain Feathersword: A word game? I love word games, Sam. What do I have to do?

Sam: Well, we're gonna hold up a card with a picture and the name of an animal on it and we want you to act like that animal.

Captain Feathersword: Oh, you mean you want me to move around like the animal?

Sam: That's right, Captain. But not only that, we want you to sound like the animal too.

Captain Feathersword: Ho-ho! OK, then, Sam. Let's do it.

Sam: OK. First one, Captain. Take a look. What does this one say?

Captain Feathersword: (He looks at the card that Sam is holding.) I'm not sure what that word says, Sam.

Sam: Oh, well, Captain, just try sounding out the letters of the name of the animal.

Captain Feathersword: OK, let's see. Um... (He looks at the card that Sam is holding.) "D"... "O"... "G". (He thinks.) "D"... "O"... "G". Dog. Dog! Dog! Ho-ho! It says "dog", Sam! (He acts like a dog.)

Sam: (He laughs.) Well done, Captain. Now Murray's got one for you.

Captain Feathersword: Whoa-ho! (He walks over to Murray.)

Murray: Well done, Captain. Now Jeff's got one for you.

Captain Feathersword: (He walks over to Jeff & looks at the card that he's holding.) Ho-ho! I know what this word says, Jeff. I can tell by the way it looks "Kangaroo". It says "kangaroo". (He bounces like a kangaroo to Anthony.)

Anthony: Captain, I've got one for you now.

Captain Feathersword: Oh, let's see what this word says. (He looks at the card that Anthony is holding.) "S"... "N"... "ACK"... "E". Snack...e.

Anthony: Having problems, Captain?

Captain Feathersword: "Snack-e"? Oh, I know that's not right, Anthony. I'll get it in a minute. "Snack-e". "Snacke"? "Snacke"?

Anthony: Captain, use the picture as a clue.

Captain Feathersword: (He looks at the picture of a snake on the card.) Oh. Oh, I know. That's a snake! See, it says "snake". "Snake"! Ho-ho! (He laughs then acts like a snake. He & Anthony join the Other Wiggles.)

Sam: Sometimes you can work out the word by sounding it out.

Captain Feathersword: (He kneels onto the ground.) Like "D"... "O"... "G". Dog!

Murray: (Captain Feathersword kneel hops closer to Murray.) Or "C"... "A"... "T". Cat.

Jeff: And sometimes you know just from looking at the shape of the word.

Captain Feathersword: (He kneel hops closer to Jeff.) Like "kangaroo".

Anthony: Or sometimes you just look at a picture to help.

Captain Feathersword: (He kneel hops closer to Anthony.) Like "snack-e"! I mean "snake". Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! Oh, this is the best word game I've ever played. Arr (He kneel hops away.)
